هزارتوهای مدور عقل

این صفحه در معما
کم از اوراق دفتر مقدس من نخواهد بود
یا آن اوراق دیگر
که دهان‌های نادان خواهند خواند
با این باور که دست نوشته‌ی انسانی است
نه آینه‌های تاریک روح‌القدس
منی که بود و هست و خواهد بود
دوباره به کلام مکتوب سر فرود آورده‌ام
که زمان در توالی است و چیزی بیش از یک نشانه نیست
آن‌که با کودکی بازی می‌کند با چیزی بازی می‌کند
 نزدیک و مرموز و من در خیال  
یک‌بار خواستم با بچه‌ها بازی کنم
با ترس و مهربانی در میانشان ایستادم
من از زهدانی زاده شدم
در اثر جادویی
زیر فسونی زیستم، در جسمی زندانی شدم
 و در تواضع یک روح
خاطره را شناختم
سکه‌ای را که هیچ‌گاه دوبار یکسان نیست
امید و ترس را شناختم
صورت‌های توامان آینده‌ی نامعلوم را
بی‌خوابی را شناختم، خواب را، رویاها را
جهل را، جسم را
هزارتوهای مدور عقل را
دوستی انسان‌ها را
عبودیت  کور سگان را
مرا دوست داشتند، شناختند، ستودند
و از صلیب آویختند
من جامم را تا اخرین جرعه ی درد نوشیدم
چشمانم دیدند آن‌ چه را که هرگز ندیده بودند
شب و ستارگان بی‌شمارش را
اشیاء را شناختم صاف و ناصاف، خشن و ناهموار
طعم عسل را و سیب را
آب را در گلوی عطش
سنگینی فلز را در دست
آوای انسانی را، صدای پاها را بر علف
بوی باران را در جلیل
فریاد مرغان را بر فراز
تلخی را شناختم
نوشتن این کلمات را به مردی عامی واگذاشتم
و هیچ‌گاه آن کلماتی نخواهند شد که می‌خواهم بگویم
بلکه تنها سابه‌ای از آن‌ها خواهند شد
این کلمات از ابدیت من فروچکیده‌اند
بگذار کس دیگری این شعر را بنویسد
نه آنکه اکنون کاتب آنست
فردا درخت عظیمی خواهم بود در آسیا
یا ببری در میان ببران
که قانون خود را بر بیشه‌های ببر ابلاغ می‌کند
گاه غربت‌زده، به گذشته می‌اندیشم
به بوی دکه‌ی آن نجار

History 1989 – 1995 Sopor Aeternus & the Ensemble of Shadows was founded by Anna-Varney (then known as Varney) and Holger in 1989, and began as a Neue Deutsche Todeskunst musical project.
